International Event Rider

Bruce “Buck” Davidson Jr. has followed in his father’s footsteps to become a highly accomplished international event rider.

Early highlights in his riding career include winning the Markham Trophy for being the highest placed young rider in a USET Championship three times and being named the Young Rider of the Year in 1996.

Buck completed his first CCI4* at Rolex Kentucky just two years later and made his U.S. debut at the 1999 Pan American Games team. He also represented Team USA at the 2010 & 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games. In 2011 at the Pan American Games Buck gained team Gold and individual bronze medals.

Buck is three time USEF CCI5-L National Champion in 2003, 2009 and 2013. He is consistently ranked among the top U.S. riders - number 1 in 2009, number 2 in 2009-2010 and FEI World number 5 in 2014.

Buck has remained at the top of the sport and has represented the United States at international five-stars around the world.

Buck founded BDJ Equestrian, a program guiding horses from young stages up to CCI5*L. He is married to Andrea since 2014 and has 2 daughters.
