Gemma Owen is an international dressage rider for Great Britain.
Having learnt to ride at the age of three, Gemma fell in love with horses at a young age. She began her dressage career at just eight years old.
Ambitious, like her parents, Gemma has competed for Great Britain since she was 11 years old, travelling across Europe for major competitions in front of large crowds
Gemma has already accomplished some serious milestones, including competing at the 2021 Junior European Championships with her horse, Sirius Black.
In 2022, Gemma appeared on season 8 of the popular reality TV show Love Island.
Unfortunately early 2023 saw the sad loss of Sirius Black due to sudden illness and Gemma took a step back from competing. She became a Patron of World Horse Welfare.
In 2024 Gemma took the ride on King Ron P and is back out competing at Inter II. We are excited to see how this partnership develops!
