Rosalind “Ros” Canter began her riding career with the South Wold Hunt North Pony Club and made the decision to pursue eventing full time after attending Sheffield Hallam University, where she studied Sport Science. She spent four years working for Judy Bradwell starting in 2008. During her first year there, she qualified three horses for the Burghley Young Event Horse Final and  Young Horse Eventing Championships, and she earned a silver medal in show jumping at the World University Equestrian Championships.

She has remained a strong competitor in the young horse eventing classes ever since. She came in second in the Six Year Old World Championships at Le Lion d’Angers and won the Four Year Old Burghley Young Event Horse Final and the Lycetts Four Year Old Championship as well.

In 2011, Ros made the decision to start her own business and is currently based at Hallington. She made her CCI4* debut at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials in 2015. She has represented Great Britain in multiple Nations Cup Eventing competitions and was the best British rider and highest placed lady rider at the Badminton Horse Trials in 2017.
