Lauren Kieffer is an American four-star event rider. She grew up in Mt. Carmel, IL, and began riding when she was six. She started competing in the sport of eventing at age 12 with her trainer, Susannah Lansdale. When she turned 18, she became a working student for Olympians David and Karen O’Connor. After spending years working with the O’Connors, Lauren now runs her own business at High Acre Stables in The Plains, VA.

Lauren has ridden in multiple CCI4* events around the world and has represented the U.S. numerous times in international competition. She was awarded the Pinnacle Cup Trophy in 2014 and 2016 for being the leading U.S. rider at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI4* with her powerhouse partner, Veronica.
