Description

The EQx headbands are machine washable (30ºC) and replaceable.

We recommend riders use these replacement headbands to refresh their riding hat and ensure a snug fit.

Important: Replacing your headband does not extend the protection offered by your helmet. It’s essential that you replace your riding helmet after five years.

Upgrade your EQx helmet with the 2.0 Replacement Headband, now twice as thick for a snugger, more tailored fit. Ideal for riders between sizes or those seeking a closer feel, it works seamlessly with the dial-fit system to fine-tune your fit for added stability. Available to buy separately – perfect for replacing your original or adding an extra to your kit. Doesn’t come as standard with your EQx helmet. Crafted from breathable, moisture-wicking fabric, it keeps you cool, dry, and comfortable. Machine washable for easy care and long-lasting freshness— because every ride should start with a fresh feel.

How to measure your head

Watch the video for a demonstration of how to properly measure and fit your helmet.

Use a soft fabric measuring tape marked in centimetres (cm).

Wrap the tape around the widest part of your head: about one inch above your eyebrows, just above the ear line and around the bump at the back of your head.

Once you have your measurement in centimetres, click here for the size chart to convert it to our standard helmet size.

If you have a rounder shaped head or find helmets feel tight on the sides, consider Round Fit sizing.
