Day One At WEG

Our first day at the World Equestrian Games has been a great one! After a rainy start to the morning, we kept busy at our booth doing helmet fittings for riders who had travelled from all over the globe to watch the start of dressage.

Our WEG exclusive, a beautiful grey AyrBrush With Pinstripe, has been an incredibly popular option! We’re thrilled that riders are enjoying this stunning helmet in all of its colour combinations, including the rose gold pinstripe that offers just the right amount of shine. We’ve also seen a return to a more classic look so far and a love for our helmets with removable liners. We can’t wait to see what riders’ favorites will be over the rest of the competition.

Our professional fitters had an excellent fitting tip to share for anyone interested in the AyrBrush With Pinstripe:

When you first try on a brand new helmet, pull the removable liner out a bit in the back. This will accommodate a deeper fit and allow you to experience what the helmet will feel like as the microfit system breaks in and moulds to the shape of your head with wear.

With eventing beginning tomorrow, we’re also looking forward to fitting more riders in Airowear’s AyrPS. This air protection system offers an incredible dual layer of protection by combining our lightweight and breathable BETA 2009 Level 3 AirMesh2 Body Protector with the inflatable AirShell tested to Satra M38:Issue 3 February 2015 air-vest standard. Be sure to look for the AyrPS on course with Team USA on cross-country day!

We hope to see everyone tomorrow. Stop by Booth B7-11 to have a professional helmet or body protector fitting done and bring any safety or fitting questions you might have to ask our experts!

In the meantime, check out some beautiful photos from the eventing jog of #teamcharlesowen riders from Amy Dragoo:
