Charles Owen And Airowear At LRK3DE 2018: Day 4

Today was the last day of the Land Rover Kentucky Three Day Event and we spent another beautiful spring day cheering on our top riders and celebrating BETA Safety Week by giving helmet and body protector fittings all day.

Show jumping was down to the wire with an excited, interactive crowd. We were proud of all of our #teamcharlesowen riders today! We also had a fantastic day on the booth, fitting helmets – from velvets to skull caps and everything in between – and body protectors, with our AyrPS remaining a hugely popular choice for eventers of all ages. Plenty of people came by at the last minute to pick up the helmets they decided on earlier throughout the competition. For everyone who purchased a helmet at the event this weekend or during BETA Safety Week, remember that we offer re-fits for the life of your Charles Owen, so be sure to bring it back to us next year to be re-fitted!

We enjoyed sharing information about BETA Safety Week and how exciting it is as an opportunity to share information more about the helmets and body protectors that everyone wears on a day to day basis to protect them.

We were grateful to have expert fitter Ian Mitchell on the booth throughout the weekend to share his extensive knowledge and fit riders from across the country in our line of high technology body protector body protectors.

His expert tip from today was that you can tell if a body protector protector is too big if the buckle is rubbing against the arm and the strap is all the way to the center so that there is no room to tighten it further. Though your strap should cover the orange piece on the Velcro, it should have some room for adjustment.

We hope that everyone who stopped by our booth today had a good experience and walked away with a properly fitted helmet or body protector. We enjoyed meeting everyone and couldn’t have asked for a better weekend at the Kentucky Horse Park!
