Charles Owen Returns to Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event for 2013
For over a decade Charles Owen has been a sponsor of the only CCI4* in the United States, the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, and the company is delighted to be present once again at the renowned Lexington, Kentucky event from April 24-28.
“The Rolex Kentucky CCI4* always offers top-notch competition, and I am proud to be a sponsor of the event.” said Roy Burek, Managing Director of Charles Owen. “The three-day event riders in the United States have been loyal supporters of the Charles Owen brand, and I am happy to be able to give back to them by supporting Rolex.”
Charles Owen will be sited at their traditional spot in the corporate sponsor tent area conveniently located on the corner across from the entrance to the main arena. The spacious tent allows Rolex Kentucky attendees to receive expert helmet and body protector fitting advice while having a chance to view Charles Owen’s entire line in person. Visitors to the Charles Owen booth can also see and be fitted for Sergio Grasso boots and Roeckl gloves.
Featured in the Charles Owen booth this year will be the new line of custom piped helmets. Riders can now add their own touch to the Charles Owen Ayr8 or Pro II cover with piping in a wide variety of colors.
The Charles Owen 4Star, which was launched at Rolex last year, will also be on display in the booth. The helmet features the latest in safety technology and comfort including a deep fit to maximize head coverage. The tough outer shell of the helmet is reinforced with aramid fibers to improve crush resistance and enhance head protection. In addition to an unparalleled high safety standard, the 4Star’s wearers can look forward to a 4Star comfortable fit. The helmet sports a unique “Free Fit” system for increased air flow, as well as ten ventilation slots at the front and rear of the helmet to help riders keep their cool.
