Charles Owen Looks Forward to an Exciting Week at the 2014 Royal International Horse Show
After a successful show at the Hickstead Derby, Charles Owen is looking forward to returning to Hickstead for the Royal International Horse Show - a crown jewel in Charles Owen's annual sponsorships.
Charles Owen riders will be out in force at the Royal International Horse Show in all of the rings and the company is delighted to be cheering on all of the riders wearing Charles Owen helmets across the disciplines.
Charles Owen will once again be partnering with Hickstead as the title sponsor of the Charles Owen Shopping Village and host of the International Riders' Lounge during the Royal International Horse Show. Charles Owen is eager to welcome the International Riders to the Lounge for hospitality and relaxation throughout the week.
With over 250 exhibitors, the Charles Owen Shopping Village is located just outside the main competition arena. Spectators and riders alike can enjoy world class shopping while seeking out excellent show-discounts and special offers or just to pick up a souvenir to remember their great experience.
As at the Derby, the Charles Owen Trade Stand will be located near the entrance of the Shopping Village. Visiting the Stand will give spectators and competitors alike an excellent opportunity to be fitted for a new Charles Owen Helmet and Body Protector or an Airowear Body Protector. The entire ranges of both companies will be on display offering visitors the chance to view the latest and greatest products.
Featured on the stand this year will be the newly launched V8, which offers a removable liner and the latest in cooling technology. Also available for purchase will be the new Charles Owen round fit helmets - available in the Ayr8, Pro II, and YR8 models - the round fit helmets allow for every rider to have a customised helmet fit.

The Airowear Hickstead by Charles Owen will be prominently on display in the Charles Owen Stand and this is a fabulous opportunity to purchase the award winning body protector while at its namesake event. The Hickstead safety vest by Airowear is the first of it's kind to be launched for showjumpers. Providing an appearance that has been described by innovation award judges as "almost invisible over a show jacket" the Hickstead combines a stylish and tailored appearance with the highest level of safety.
"The Royal International Horse Show has an impressive history in the UK and Charles Owen is so proud to be a sponsor of this great show," said Roy Burek, Managing Director of Charles Owen. "We look forward to welcoming all of the international riders to the Charles Owen International Rider's Lounge and hope that everyone at Hickstead stops by to visit the Charles Owen stand located at the entrance to the shopping village."
Hickstead - the home of British show jumping - was established in 1960 by the late Douglas Bunn and is considered one of the premier equestrian venues in the world. Offering six arenas, permanent seating for over 5,000 spectators, 26 corporate hospitality suites, and conferencing and entertainment facilities for up to 250, Hickstead is an impressive setting.
