When/Why I first started riding: I started riding
when I was ten years old.

First competitive riding experience: I competed with
my pinto Arabian in English pleasure classes when I was eleven.

First afflicted event: I started showing in the jumper
divisions at local California shows like Showpark and The
Oaks when I was twelve.
Worst injury: I've done it all- broken pelvis, fractured
vertebrae, lots of head bumping...
Most admired rider(s) and why: I always loved watching
Tim Grubb ride...he was the most beautifully sympathetic,
natural rider. I also like watching Barney and McLain Ward...it's
fun to watch a father and son who are both so disciplined
and accurate, and yet so different in their styles.
Favourite show and why:CSIO La Baule- The atmosphere,
town, courses and level of sport are so incredible. Competing
on the American team here was one of the most inspiring experiences
of my lifetime.
