Trainer(s): Scott King, Judy Martin, Tim Grubb, John Pearce, Barney Ward

First afflicted event: I started showing in the jumper divisions at local California shows like Showpark and The Oaks when I was twelve.

Worst injury: I've done it all- broken pelvis, fractured vertebrae, lots of head bumping...

Most admired rider(s) and why: I always loved watching Tim Grubb ride...he was the most beautifully sympathetic, natural rider. I also like watching Barney and McLain Ward...it's fun to watch a father and son who are both so disciplined and accurate, and yet so different in their styles.

Favourite show and why:CSIO La Baule- The atmosphere, town, courses and level of sport are so incredible. Competing on the American team here was one of the most inspiring experiences of my lifetime.

Best advice given: "If your horse wants to jump clear, let him! (Tim Grubb)
