When/ Why first started riding: Age 4 , my parents
couldn't keep me away from ponies
Name of first pony: Ben the Shetland for lead line,
Socks was my first real pony.
First competitive riding experience: showing lead
line, then pony club horse trails when I was 9.
Trainer(s): Mary Fowler for dressage ( she is a judge),
Mike helps me over fences
Worst injury: I've been really fortunate to only have
broken a collar bone.
Most admired rider(s) and why: Karen O'Connor, I love
to watch her ride and compete, she continues to produce happy,
confident upper level horses that love their job. Of course,
Lucinda Green, how can you not admire her for everything she
has done with every type of horse, she is truly a great role
model and ambassador for our sport. Also Mike; he works everyday
top become a better rider and Trainer, and is always thinking
of what is best for his horses.
Favourite show and why: Last year I competed at Burghley
and Lexington, they were my first CCI****'s, so both brilliant.
But the sun shone more at Burghley!
Best advice given: When the jumps are really big and
scary, pull and kick at the same time, then pat them on the
neck when you get to the other side!
What other career would you have chosen: Professional
Shopper....it's a problem I have, so Mike Says!
Who would you most like to have dinner with: Ben Stiller,
Funny and relativley normal for a movie star!
Favourite colour: Any shade of blue, but especially
pale blue like my new Gr8 helmet Iwaer for X-C!
Favourite number: 22
Favourite meal: Christmas Dinner
Favourite drink: Seabreeze(Vodka, grapefruit and Cranberry)
